Mark Juco
Coach/Manager

The Outer Banks of North Carolina. Where it all started. After being born and raised here in Michigan, Mark and his wife, Jo, moved down to the OBX back in 2010. During the move, the sight of people flipping tires and dragging chains caught the eyes of Nick and Mark. Together, they suffered through the grueling workout “Fight Gone Bad”, and ever since then, they were both hooked! After that experience, Mark joined Crossfit Outer Banks and enjoyed soaking up as much knowledge as he could, received his Level 1 less than a year later and even turned it into a full time position as head coach for the past 5 years. In the fall of 2017, Mark moved back to Michigan and is beyond stoked to join the Crossfit 8 Mile team and is excited to share his experience from coaching, competing in local competitions, and attending weightlifting seminars from some of the best in the sport including Donny Shankle, Travis Cooper and Tom Sroka. Mark lives in West Bloomfield with his wife, Jo and their baby girl, Emma Grace.

Cara has been a passionate CrossFitter for nine years with a focus on competitive weightlifting for the last six. Determined to help other people find a passion for both sports, she pursued certification to coach weightlifting in 2015 and CrossFit in 2016. Steve Cramer

His experience with college level and the NFL athletes brings a welcomed perspective to our 8 Mile community.

Steve’s love of CrossFit started at his first Elements class. After completing his initial Elements WOD, where burpees and wall balls were on tap (the dirty 7), he looked up from the ground and said “I love this!”
